The CDX is a balanced diaphragm, first stage regulator, meaning it is inherently environmentally sealed. This reduces routine maintenance as none of the delicate internal parts is exposed to contaminants such as salt, sand, chlorine or pool acids. These environmental contaminants can cause corrosion and mineral deposits to form on the internal mechanism deteriorating regulator performance.
It’s manufactured from triple chromed marine grade brass for durability and long life and has 4 LP ports and 2 HP ports which are angled for optimum hose routing.
